Company Profile
White, Lynn, Collins and Associates, Incorporated, (WLC) was originally founded by W.A. White in 1959.  WLC is a consulting firm providing civil engineering, structural engineering and surveying services to cities, counties, industrial, and private sector clients.
WLC is set apart from other engineering firms by our commitment to our clients and their success.  We make the client a key team member in the design process, from the preliminary project feasibility and planning phase to the final construction phase.  Our clients become a part of the WLC family and relationships continue well after the completion of any single project.  Our casual work atmosphere makes it easy for our clients to feel comfortable making suggestions and being an integral part of the project.  In our Statement of Qualifications you will see the resumes of key people within our firm.  Our people are the key to WLC’s success and the key to our clients’ success.

Many firms may have an equal amount of engineering experience and could provide a design for a particular project.  The difference is that at WLC we do not view the project simply as a design or service; we view the project as an opportunity to begin a relationship with a client that can continue well into the future.  We believe that the most important information we can give you about WLC is our list of client references.  Most of the clients listed in our references are clients that we have worked with on multiple projects over a long period of time.  These are the people, along with our employees, that have brought WLC to where it is today.  Our goal is to meet our clients’ schedule and to get the project completed on time and within budget.
Currently WLC has a staff of 11 full time personnel including registered engineers and registered land surveyors.  Also, we have a surveying crew, construction field inspectors, AutoCAD designers and other office management personnel.  WLC has personnel currently licensed and registered to work in Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
